What can skating do for me?

Basic Skills Programs

About the Classes:

  • Classes are offered for ages 3 years and up.
  • Parents of beginner skaters may skateduring skater’s practice time only. You must purchase a parent pass is $10 per 5/6 week session. Numbers permitting.
  • Fees include: class time, skate rental, award patches, Basic Skills membership to US Figure Skating and skills book, coupon for 1 practice session with KFSC, and US Figure Skating Basic Skills magazine.
  • NO REFUNDS or credits after the first class, a $25.00 service fee will be assessed for returned checks.
  • Please arrive ½ hour prior to class the first night.
  • Skaters should dress warm, with mittens or gloves. Helmets are recommended for beginning level skaters.
